| UMG10 Build
I haven't had any axial in a couple years but decided to give the umg a try. First thing I did while building the kit was to flip the trans. I had to make front brackets and trim the RX box a bit. I'm going to print a new set of sliders or cut the box off and use an axial RX box I have from my wraith parts. I used a HH 27t and a 1080 ESC. This is probably my favorite kit I have built. It has just about everything you need except accessories and a couple of upgrade for the 1 piece axles. It's nice not to have to make an interior from scratch. Also the bed is fantastic. I decided to go a little bit different color than typically seen on a unimog but I like it. My Tonka truck. It looks so much like a tow truck I have thought about adding a boom. I printed a stack and screwed it to the bed. All ready for the maiden voyage. Sent from my Vivo XI+ using Tapatalk |

I built one a while ago - probably the best equipped kit I've built from Axial.

Nice man! I really need to take mine out for a drive. I haven't even driven it yet! LOL. Are those inner fenders the same ones that the cherokee uses or did someone make a file specifically for the UMG?

Decided to change to a 12" wheel base. I modified the bed a little and put a set of high clearance rear links. Looks almost stock. Just need to do the rear drive shaft. With the trans flipped and the longer wheel base it should crawl fantastic. Sent from my Vivo XI+ using Tapatalk |
