just wanted to show the changes i made, this is the current form and will stay this way for i dont know how long to distribute the weight, i have placed the battery behind the tranny and moved the axe540 esc to the right side. the reciever and power switch are on the left. a light and winch battery is held by a velcro on the cab area, i use a small batt around 960mah 7.4v (i think) lipo. thanks for viewing! |

@ussprinceton2004, i actually have new inner fenders, 3d printed it about a month ago... but held back installing them because of the conversion from the original tranny to the toyzuki motor mount. I will install them when i am free, it needs some tweaking. anyways, here is a fleet photo... thanks for viewing! |

Didn't really like using the Toyzuki motor mount in conjunction with the SCX10v1 transmission (converted to transfer case), it reintroduced a lot of the issues of using the old scx10 with the drive shafts positioned to the side. Reversing it is not an option since the shafts would hit the motor. I found a transfer case online that seem to be an easy DIY mount project. If i am not mistaken it's an RC4WD transfer case (china copy). I used two alloy L-bars to secure the transfer case to the alloy skid plate, also grinded the middle skid plate brace so i can sit the transfer case lower to remove any binding. The transfer case is mounted vertically and centered on the skid plate... very minimal rubbing on the motor (1mm+), but i think if grinded it will clear properly This mod makes the rig run very fast with a 2300kv motor and 14T pinion, for more torque I may need to gear down to a 12T. It runs smoother now, like a super enhanced SCX10 II with stock tranny... i am liking this mod. btw, also upgraded to Proline Powerstroke Scale Shocks... so now i need to tune this for the rocks. Started work on a new body. Not really sure if i like it enough to use it, but i will take on the challenge of painting and detailing this body... it will be a learning experience. Start with my kids making for me a grill, one of my kids made the mode and the other one 3d printed it. Not sure if i want it weathered or just painted, still looking at how to go about this. I have only less than 3 weeks to finish this. Thanks Teng! All well now. Thanks for viewing! |

Partially finished the Power Wagon, but decided to sell it and go for my original plans to create a different build using a Proline Power Wagon cab instead. Here are the last photos before she goes to the new owner... Thanks for viewing! |

just got another (used) Scx10 II rig a few days ago. the build required me to move my toyzuki tranny to fit the body i am using for it. moved my stock kit tranny to this rig and decided to use the hilux and metal truggy bed for the c2 comp this coming sunday. Thanks for viewing! |

today was a blast, the rig performed well. passed the time climbing up this incline, just thought of trying to take a video from my mobile device (removed the background sound, too noisey). https://youtu.be/6h3VUVJJY5s Thanks for viewing! |

this rig has changed again, it is now in the process of being converted into a class 1 trail/crawler rig. got this used comanche with a real fugly paint job... the pinstripes are horrible! sanded the body and painted it flat black, not it's final paint job, unless i sell it to my friend and get what i always wanted for it... the LC70 cab. i need to fab up an alloy bumper for it and add all the scale items. thanks for viewing! |

a 2nd win for this chassis... this time as a Class 1 future plans... - replace this hard body with a lighter fiberglass one (maybe return to using a hilux one), it was way too heavy. - upgrade the transfer case to one with OD/UD thanks for viewing! |

I was originally planning on purchasing a new transmission case for this rig, unfortunately the tcase i wanted was no longer being produced by my friend (see my akumu vs410 build). I had to do maintenance last week and upon opening the case, it reminded me of my vs410 OD/UD tcase so i started planning. This is my china made tcase... nice and cheap, so my experiment, if butchered, wont hurt as much. The plan was to have a new output shaft made, mod my idler gear and install it on the center shaft going to the motor mount. Since i did not have the tools to do this properly, I had a good friend machine it for me. This is the finished tcase. it is mounted on my rig now and works really good. thanks for viewing! |

traded a chassis frame set for this low cog frame (only) and transfered everything, took the time to do 100% maintenance and noticed my og axles where all beaten up and unsightly, so i upgraded them to the SSD Diamond axles... damn these are pretty! still have not properly installed all the electronics and deciding on a bed for the rear. I dont want to chop the rear shock tower but if worst comes to worst I may have to do it. Cant wait to get my CI lil novas and get this thing on the trail. Thanks for viewing! getting the rig ready for our sunday competition... decided to go stealthy on this one, almost 99% black scale items, computed already for SORRCA style 40pts max. hehe decided to use the tried and tested 100% reliable swampers i just need to adjust the rear top links and wire the lights.
