Default AE-5 Lipo Cut off Always Enabled?

Alright so today was the first time i took the truck outside. I enjoyed the hell out of it! My brand new Gens Ace 3500mah 2S went on for about 1.5 hour which i thought was too much for a battery of that capacity so i replaced it with my second battery seeing that the ESC would not cut it off. Is there a "secret" setting to enable lipo cut off or is it always enabled? Did i pull the battery out too soon?

These trucks will last all day on a charge tbh. 1.5 hours is pretty normal.

It is in lipo mode. I haven't touched anything on the esc.

Sounds fine to me. My truck on a 5000mah 3s can last 2.5 -5 hours depending on how I'm driving.

Are you from westerly ri?

I see. That's insane though! I'm used to my previous truck which was a fast U4 style rock racer (FTX Outlaw Brushless). That thing took out my 3250mah 2s in about 45 minutes! Actually I am from Greece. I got the username from my Games For Windows Live account

Sorry, I thought I was on the tech board for my other truck and that jumper is the bane of that truck's existence.

I get about 5 hours out of my 5000mah battery.

I run 5000 mah packs in my trailfinder. I normally run 1.30 hour and swap packs. When I charge my packs, they normally take less than 2500mah when I recharge. I’m sure I could go much further, but that’s what I do.

Notice the packs lasting any longer or not? I've been having bad luck.

There are pins and jumpers on the AE-5 that set it for NiMH or lipo, you can look at the AE5 or listen to the beeps when first turned on. The beeps will tell you what it's set as, one short beep then long beep is NiMH mode and for lipo it will beep 2 or 3 short ones for 2 or 3 cells followed by a long beep
