Went for a trail run today....
Mostly dry and dusty, but I did find some mud and let her eat.

Thanks Natedog. I couldn't ask for a better trail.

She gets plenty of thrashing, lol. My Nephews are hooked, including the 2 year old in the pics. He even understands which controller controls the truck. Scary smart! He calls the trucks Vroom-vroom's.

I still haven't broke anything on her, including the stock servo, and other electronics...

So I ran into my Trail honcho on this last run... I plugged in my battery, and nothing. I unplugged and replugged it in, and she ran great for the whole trip. I will be looking into this.

In prep this morning, I checked out my bumper that I noticed flopping around ...

Notice something missing? Yeah the mount was completely broken off.

I swapped out the bumper out for a rear cossmember and took her for a run today.

My parents actually hiked with me and took a couple pictures... I however only took one.

Had fun on some slabs of rock as I climbed a local foot hill.

Did some rock crawling today, and the Trail honcho showed its flaws quite clearly.

Ran the rock spine, picking and choosing my lines.

Ummmmmm, needed help making it up this notch.

Really making me miss the Honcho shell on my 10.2. Love what you did adding rear quarters and your local scenery/crawling spots are gorgeous!

Hey thanks Addiemonster.
I saved those fenders for years before finally getting a Honcho to go under them. Unfortunately I broke one recently, tearing the lexan from the cab, so I will have to figure out a new way of mounting them.

I go out due to the beauty of nature, and love to share the beauty of my surroundings!

Beautiful shots!

I miss Montana and the amazing trails there. I haven't found anything like it here, but I am in the process of exploring.

The desert has its own beauty, but can be esp harsh in the summer. I used to hit the trails to get out of the heat in Montana, not here! lol.

Thanks! I'm really lucky to live in the middle/upper part of NY. Tons of forests and parks. I love everything about my surrounding area except the winter. Not as brutal as the more northern states but I'm not built for it!
