All torn down. You can see the clearance difference of the skid plate. There are a few minor issues I've ran into so far:
1. I need a hardware kit bad, I'm running thin on my assortment.
2. I ether need to figure out a different top 4 link mount on the chassis, or get angled links.

Hopefully this weekend I can get on assembling this body!

Most of the body is finished, this thing is pretty awesome. I am blown away by the detail. Little things I need to finish.

I got some more aluminum goodies, mostly chassis support pieces.

Got some link mount extenders to fix my rear link binding issue.

Waiting on a master hardware kit, phat axles, electronic mounts, and some king 100mm, should have this stuff Monday/Tuesday.

I'm not to sure yet on how I'm going to mount this body, but I do know unfortunately I have to cut the interior, I'm going to remove it for now until I get a good chassis fitment. Might be trimming the fenders, not to sure on that yet.

This weekend I'm going to try to get some supplies for inner fenders. I am getting the itch to get back into brass fabrication, so i might make some bumpers, sliders, and fender bars. I would love to make a cage, but time is the issue right now.

Not to much going to happen for the next few days, as i am running a booth at our AAA travel show in Denver.

I will update once the parts come in!

Rear end is done. 4link mount to driveshaft clearance is close, but it clears. I need to build a gear cover, finish the front. I have 100mm kings coming. I have to trim some parts of the body to clear the frame. Over all it's coming together pretty decent. A teaser pic of the final stance!

Gotta finish the body and mount it. Get some bumpers that will match a good fender trimming and adjust the suspension. It's getting close.

Pics of the new rims, tires, and sliders.

Next plan is mount the body, adjust suspension, build the inner fenders and filler panels, interior, electronics, and a possible trim on the fenders

Got the body mounted, and working on inner fenders. There .030mm styrene. Used my Mac heat gun on low, and some 1/4 thick foam strips on my fingers to help form the plastic around the chassis.

Boom Racing makes them. They are the Sandstorm KRAIT 1.9

The chassis and skid are made by the Crawler Store in Colorado. I am not sure if they have an online store or not, but I believe there active In the Colorado forum.

Nice looking truck. It looks very Ted Nugent-esque. If only you could find him as a driver.
