Default bilinvic's '46 Power Wagon Pimpin Crawlers Truggy Build

I've been wanting to build a custom truggy for quite a while and after seeing the metal tube chassis' that Pimpin Crawlers has been building lately, I decided to reach out to Ryan to see if he could build me a chassis. I have to say that the communication with Ryan (Pimpin Crawlers) was excellent. Turn around time from down-payment to shipping was only two weeks which is exceptional IMHO. When I got my chassis into my possession, I was amazed at the quality and workmanship. I requested my chassis not to be painted as I plan on getting it powder coated. Thanxs again Ryan.

The chassis is based off an Axial SCX10.2.

The first time I encountered this photo of this custom 1:1 Power Wagon crawler, I knew this is the direction I wanted to go and has been my source of inspiration.

Looks great already. Any reason not going with the Rock Beasts like your inspiration pic?

Thanxs. I don't mind Pit Bull tires, but they have never on the top of my favourites list. I think the Wranglers look very legit on this machine!

Wicked. I love this already. I have seen that blue Power Wagon and have wanted to replicate it as well - such a sharp looking truck!!

Buddy, you are killin me! This looks great! Ryan does phenominal work and I have had a few of his chassis creations already..I may have to build a similar rig next year after I recover from the new house nightmare..

I have a set of the 1.9x4.75 MT/R's on my pimpinrocks 34 ford truggy and I love them!

This should be fun on the rocks at Cattle Point.

Fitted a metal diamond plate "skin" for the utility rack on the truggy cage.

You've been to my neck of the woods I see! I've been to Cattle Point a couple of times to crawl, but just too much salt water to worry about...there's many places that are much better for crawling so close to my home.

Grew up in Anacortes across the strait...lots of trips to Bouchart Gardens and Oak Bay/Willows Beach. Have thought often that Cattle Point would be a great crawl mecca. But yeah, salt water...

Beautiful build so far - like all of your builds.

Would you mind measuring the diameter of those 1.9 MTR tires mounted up? They're on my short list, but I'm thinking they might be a little tall.

Very cool build, one of a kind for sure. That chassis and cage looks fantastic.

I feel like an idiot because at first when I saw the 1:1 photo I thought to myself “that driver figure is so realistic!”
