Ok. All tires have been filled with the proper CI serum and I’m digging this wheel/tire/foam combo. I really like the gmade steely. If you like to suck the tires in and want an affordable beadlock these are a nice option....heavy wheels to. I see many small bolts and the smell of blue threadlock in my near future.

Jato, its a worked over CCHand for the TF2. Only thing I can take credit for is modifying it and welding it to the frame. I normally would build one but I had this guy laying around.

I did get the 1.5’s mounted to the 1.7’s last evening

If anyone was interested in a comparison.

It’s been straight crappy weather for the past couple days. Today it’s straight raining. So I’m back on the build. I opened the tranny up to inspect/clean/shim/grease.

The tranny looks brand new inside. I’m gonna replace the output bearings for good measure and add some green grease.

Another comparison however I find this one more exciting. New HD MIP vs OG MIP

Lower shaft has an optional stubby output. I picked it up with the kit. I need to pick up 3 more next order. I’m loving the MUCH smaller MIP. These are claiming to be stronger and have more range of motion. If this is true.......I’m buying more.

Out with the new in with the used and new.

I have to flip my skid because the RTR trans can’t be. I also need to rework the front suspension a little while I’m in there.

Are these new MIPs only available on the supershafty site? It seems like they are 75$ there unlike the usual 60$...

Good question. That’s the only location I know of. I’m not in with them so I don’t know the story.

I have made some progress and I have a complete rtr other than messing with the steering. Need to make a chromo steering link.

The MTR’s are mounted!

Where did you buy those driveshafts? Here is the link I found for compatible MIPs from supershafty.com: https://supershafty.com/collections/...center-cvd-kit

They dont look like yours at all though.

It’s kinda nice starting semi fresh. I did keep a decent amount of really good parts but I needed a lot more. The 4.19 and smaller is all I’m going to fool with from here out. The smaller tire combined with the smaller Ar44 makes scale very fun and more accurate.

Go under driveshafts, then on page 2 there is an option for hd truck kits. Drive in and there is a drop down with selections. Many different trucks on there. Looks like they are showing out on most everything for our stuff. I read somewhere to call them. They stock better than inventory?

I think they are around $150 but I acquired this with a few rigs and some $ for one of my rigs. So it was kinda free.
