More tubework and I cut the back of the frame.

This was my fisrt cage and the roof-line was to high but anything can be changed. I also cut the rear frame off.

These front shocks are just for mock up and I ended up using the proline shocks I was previously using In the beginning of this build.

The grill has 2 screws to attach it to the chassis.

A pillars, roof x, C pillars, door bars, and rear bars added. I cut some thin steel and tacked it to the boat-sides to hold my electronics and battery. I also made a brace for the panhard bar bracket.

More tube added to the rear frame.

Pictures of it together!
I added v tubes to all four shock corners and made panels out of an old white shed that got blown over in a storm and lightly ground the panels to give it a rustic look. I welded steel nuts to the chassis to mount the panels. The first time to drive the Chuggy was awesome nothing like driving a chassis you personally made.

About that Roof Line
So after a couple weeks of driving the Chuggy I wasn't thrilled with the roof line so I decided to cut the whole roof off and took it for a spin. The new roof I wanted to be lower and more angle.

So this whole time the chuggy has been using the stock links front and rear. I have been rotating the links to keep them somewhat straight, but the rear has gotten really bad. I tried to straighten the rear links as good as i could and kept on driving. Link upgrades soon...

So this shock rod end ripped off during an off camber uphill rock ledge climb where the right front tire grabbed traction while the left tire was completely off the ground and the shock rod end ripped right out.

I added a panel in the c to d pillars. Its time for an interior. This interior is from a toy jeep and I plan to use the dash, seats, and center console.

I welded a nut to the cross bar to hold a traxxas metal battery post to clip the back of the interior in.

The dash is held in place with two flat head screws. The lexan that holds the seats and center console slides under the dash and clips in.

The seats have two bolts that attach them to the lexan and the center console is hot glued to the panel.
