Default Scx10 ii frame

So im getting my first crawler for Christmas and I was looking at it in the box and I saw that the frame looked bent in wards. I don't know if this is meant to be like this and I couldn't find anything online so I was wondering if any could help. Thanks

the width of the frame is narrower in the front and the rear, when compared to the skid plate.

Is this what you are seeing?

Now stop looking at your Christmas gifts or I will tell Santa to take it back. Because If I have to wait another 14days to start building my wraith kit Ill be dammed if anyone else is going to sneak a look at their rigs.
