Default Anyone with an LCX style tranny install a center battery tray?

I'm looking at various options for battery trays and it seems like they were all designed to work with a different style of transmission from what I have in the raw builders kit (LCX style transmission).

Can anyone share any photos of a front mounted servo with a battery tray so I can see how it fits before spending money?

Thanks.

What battery mount are you using and what's the max length of battery that fits? I want to run full size (5000mAh) packs.

You can use a full size battery pack. But will not be able to mount the ESC inline with the battery.

I used an OG scx10 batt tray n turned it sideways across the chassis rails. I drilled 2 holes towards the bottom n screwed it into the crossmember. I used the foam from traxxas parts (like they package new links, pillowballs etc) in at the top between chassis n batt tray to give just a lil support n added clearance for tires. I also used the thin piece of that foam n folded it over to pad the batt just a lil, keep screw heads from rubbin batt, plus it keeps batt from slidin on the tray. The body mount says rear, but its actually the front. Previous body mount before i lowered the body...

Wasn't planning to mount the esc inline. Thanks for the link! Looks exactly like what I need.
