Front axle binding at full lock

I’m assuming that the universal front axle shafts are the cause of the binding I am having at full lock. My question is, will CVD style axles alleviate that problem? If it makes any difference I have the SSD Diamond Pro axle with HR brass knuckles. Any advice is much appreciated. Thanks!

Probably not, universal shafts usually turn further than CVD shafts.
What they may be doing is fouling on themselves, you can usually gain quite a bit more angle by just clearancing the end of the U ears a whisker if thats where they're fouling.
Can see in the pic below the shiny spots where I clearanced some of mine.
Take off just a little of both stub & inner shaft
(Yes their XR10 unis in OG SCX10 axle but principal is exact same)
