Front axle binding at full lock I’m assuming that the universal front axle shafts are the cause of the binding I am having at full lock. My question is, will CVD style axles alleviate that problem? If it makes any difference I have the SSD Diamond Pro axle with HR brass knuckles. Any advice is much appreciated. Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Re: Front axle binding at full lock 1 Attachment(s) Probably not, universal shafts usually turn further than CVD shafts. What they may be doing is fouling on themselves, you can usually gain quite a bit more angle by just clearancing the end of the U ears a whisker if thats where they're fouling. Can see in the pic below the shiny spots where I clearanced some of mine. Take off just a little of both stub & inner shaft (Yes their XR10 unis in OG SCX10 axle but principal is exact same) |
