I've been debating on what to do with my VS4 trans. Maybe a good candidate for a build this winter!

Ran it for a few minutes, love having a dig, Bea is a bad rig, this will make it nicer, due to the new turning radius.

Excellent to hear about the 13t and 16t rebuildable. And that your lady is in on the action,

I might go to a magnum, but not sure as creep ability on both these trucks is smooth already

Well the Brushed worked fine..... BUT I wanted more!
So Holmes hit me up with a SW4/Revolver in the 2200 flavor. I’ve added the dig and trans from the VS4 ( now with VFD OD) and what fun! In my first test, the torque is unreal, still running a 14t, might drop to a 12, as this will fly on 3s

Looks like a great setup Mike!

I have never owned a Revolver or the SW4. I am used to running the Mamba X in my rigs. I may have to give this setup a try!

I’m shocked at how much power. I thought my PullerPros were animals, they are mild compared to this

WOWSERS!!

I love my PullerPros.......BUT....This 2200kv revolver puts them to shame.

The torque and control is unreal! My biggest surprise was these "lousy, stock"

tires from the SCX10iii. The grip was outstanding, after adding CI foams. Only

poor response was in deep loose sand....but throttle got me through.

I will add that I suspect the temperature was the key...it was past HOT...about

110 in the sun, rocks checked out at 100.......Phone even shut off.

I shudder to think at how much power that's got, as the old v1 1800kv version does great in my lard-ass overbuilt Bomber!

Looking good, Mike!

Especially dig your two-tone matte and glossy hood, there...

Did a couple of crawls with Bea, as her body is well experienced, I don't mind pushing things. Did some rip rap and brush with ease, then some larger rounded rocks....Where my Bully ll is fantastic.

I must say I was impressed, but don't worry, Bea didn't get up half the lines, BUT with 2.2 tires and a wider stance, it really isn't fair (and I didn't talk mixed throttle) BUT Bea did not embarrass herself, and even ended the day by snapping a rod end! Great Fun and got some great pictures with my new box.

Time for an update.....

Bea is a trooper, now sporting a 2200 revolver and dig, BUT I wanted more, enter the Enabler, JRH.... yeah Holmes.... they brought out the Sherpa with help from the boys at TGH.......so Chris hooked me up with 15% OD
Since a new chassis was coming, time for a servo. For me a simple no brainer, a PM 470, the last version of PM420. So I hit John up, and found out another upgrade/ generation! It’s now a 555!

So I assembled the chassis, Boom! About 20 minutes later it was done. Only issue was the transfer case was tight when I got it, so pulled the screws, inspected, reseated the bearings and tightened to buttery smooth.

I will get this moving further when the body mounts arrive, so I can place electronics and battery, (SW4/2200 revolver)
I may add sliders for that as we move along. I am going to run Bea’s dravtechs and SSD axles so when done, about 25%OD should help climbing.

Nice! I did a brazin c1 chassis on my no kit necessary 10.2 build and I couldn’t be happier. It’s a massive difference. It will go places you never thought possible. Flat rail chassis are my new rc obsession. I honestly may never buy a crawler kit again.

Mounted things up, used SCX10ii links, and they give me a 11.5wb, bit short, but hardcore rc links are coming.

Front stinger fits perfectly, now to plan a rear bumper, may just go with a delrin rod.

Well I hope the links come.... emails stopped hopefully just holiday time off at TGH.
EDIT... just got my shipper for links. Thanks Chris.

So I assembled clutch and spurs, install upper shaft. Made a Esc mounting plate and screwed it onto the servo mount. Panhandle and drag link are off a bit, but still needed to try it. So rx mounted to the servo, measured for battery mount location so body mounts can be setup for shell. I was quite happy with the performance in the driveway, with the battery dragging behind!

Well got the links in, side trays also, but still needed a battery tray. So I drew one up and printed it out. Nice and solid CF PETG. Mounted to the frame rails after setting the links up.
If someone wants the STL, I put it on thingaverse https://www.thingiverse.com/make:891953
