| SCX10 II Hard Body
Hello! I mostly do on road cars and some planes. Me and my father were talking and he brought up his old Tamiya Bruiser 4x4 and how he'd love to have one. Well, I soon found out that Tamiya re-released it in 2012. I told him and we seriously looked at getting one. But they're $1000. So I told him maybe it would be better to look at something cheaper and good. We came across the SCX10 II kit. He wants the kit, no RTR trucks. I am 100% ready to purchase it, but he wants to find a body first. Something older, like a late 70's Bronco, Hilux Pickup(like the bruiser), Scout, etc. Classic something. Not a Jeep Cherokee unless it's the only option. I love the RC4WD bodies but they are so expensive.. Almost $200 for the body alone? Thanks for any help. |

Yeah..... RC isn’t cheap. A lexan cab and plastic rear frame will set you back almost $100 So a hardbody with much more detail costs double....... but that’s a lot of detail. Hang up and Drive |

| Re: SCX10 II Hard Body Thanks for the response! I do understand RC isn't cheap.. That's an understatement haha. I just find it hard to believe there are no cheaper options for a hard body, even ebay doesn't have anything in the right size. Some fab work is absolutely no problem, actually my father would probably like it. |
