Yeti/bomber rear trailing arms

So I got the idea/inspiration on a build from a guy on ig (trail domination). He has a rig called wroncheti. His is running ar60s. But I plan on using ar44s. I just used yeti/bomber rear trailing arms and bomber rear upper links. Moved axle back maybe 7mm.. not going to leave the skid side of the mounts in board. Will move them outboard when I have some time to make brackets

Originally was about 312mm now about 318mm

Oh man I was just looking at my 10-2 yesterday and wondering about using TA’s. Had the chance to do any testing and stuff yet? You didn’t hit any snags by extending it with the driveshaft or anything?

Haven't had a chance to run it yet. Got to fox the front shock first. Leaked all the oil out.. I'm thinking maybe running 100mm shocks on the rear set up with some 5-10mm sag... I have some hr internal spring shocks I might try...

The driveshaft doesn't seem to have any issues with that little bit more length and the pinion angle is about the same as original.

Ran it today for work few minutes. It runs good. No binding. I think I want to get some 100mm or 110mm shocks for the rear. And have them set up to have sag so it's still at stock ride height.

Technically it isn't trailing arms when you have the shock mounted to the axle. Moving the shock towers to the forward most position (and swapping them from left to right) on the chassis might allow you to get the shocks pretty straight up and down on the rearmost mounting hole on the trailing arm. That will save you from having to buy long shocks if travel is what you are looking for, as one of the benefits of trailing arms is more travel with shorter shocks. It will however, require you to drill new holes in the body for your body posts.

I know exactly what trailing arms are. I just have not had the chance to change everything yet. Just wanted to see how they fit mostly right now. I am going to mount the shocks on the arms.
