Default SCX10-ii, Toyota Hilux Truggy
This is my New Build. My influence were the Race Tractor Build by Scale Built, Toyota Hilux Truggy by Fishmouth Fabworks and the Woods Runner By Harley Design. Parts I’m starting with:
scx10-ii
Vanquish Portal Axles
Tamiya Hilux body
TRX-4 GTS shocks
Vanquish F9 Servo Mount Kit
Reef’s low profile Servo
Incision stainless steel links
Vanquish Currie sway bar
Vanquish Twin Hammers Trailing arms

Awesome build! I literally just started a Hilux cab-only build on a 10.2 yesterday. Not doing portals or full truggy though, going tube bed and and probably Rockjocks.


Which cab back are you using? I like the scale design of the RC4WD Mojave II cab back but not sure it fits.

Did my own tube bed. Used 1/8” stainless steel rod to make it.

Some details about my build.
Driver is from Knights Custom Tayima Wild Willy driver
Dash is stock Tamiya with Exclusive RC Racepack, Garmin details and interior parts set
Radiator, steering wheel and shifter VS4-10 parts
The interior tub I made custom out of stainless steel and stainless steel roll bar
Yeah Racing five point harness

Received my transmission from THG and it fits perfectly Made a light bar for the roof of the Toyota [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][/IMG][/IMG][/IMG][/IMG][/IMG][/IMG][/IMG][/IMG]. Using earth magnets to mount the body. Did the final brake down and going to work on painting it.
