Default underdrive gear set?

Anyone making an underdrive gear set? I want to underdrive the rear on my UMG10.

Overdrive only exist right now. Underdrive would likely require a larger diameter ring gear which is limited by the case dimensions.

If I overdrive the front, will torque twist be an issue?

OD front and/or UD rear should reduce percieved TT (torque twist).

What Nate said. It’ll help reduce torque twist. One of the best upgrades I did on the old scx was to overdrive front and underdrive rear. It makes it so the front axle will pull you up an incline more than the rear axle pushes you up so it’s much easier to climb without flipping. There is still torque twist on steep climbs but it is much reduced.

Second, steering is noticeably improved as it almost acts as a minor dig setup where the front grabs and goes more than the rear so your truck turns tighter.

i achieved OD/UD on an scx10v2 by replacing the whole tranny. i used a toyzuki motor mount (clone i think for a scx10 v1 chassis) and married it to a china modified tcase, drilled and added a center shaft that rotates OD (front) and UD (rear) gears, the axle are all stock.

This is the modded tcase...

thus was how the old toyzuki style motor mount was mounted before modding the tcase, currently the tcase lays flat on the alloy tranny skid plate.

my chassis is currently being updated again, i hope to drive it soon.

hth!
