|  Cutting foam tire inserts?
Been out of the game for a while but I am recovering from surgery and building an UMG10. Do people still cut the tire foams or is the foam better now to the point it’s not worth it? |

Thanks, I plan on getting better tires and wheels. I will check out those foams. In the mean time, If using stock foams would you recommend cutting them? People still using the star pattern? |

I don't see it much anymore. Modern tires and compounds are so soft, that added contact patch isn't worth the drawbacks. The foams need to be hard hold the tire up and keep it from folding over. CI foams, We aren’t in the 80’s any more. Star cuts went out with disco Hang up and Drive |
