overdrive gears question

Who makes good overdrive gears? I've only seen 2 companies HR and boom racing. Does anyone have any experiences with boom racing? The HR gears are out of stock almost everywhere, and have been out of stock for a while.

Thanks in advance.

Extra speed does, theirs also is a one piece design.

I just put boom racing in my hilux build. The quality is nice and they even give you shims should you need to shim it. I didn’t feel like I needed any shims because the fit was good without them. The ring gear is also keyed to the locker that comes with the gears so no worries of the little screws breaking. Overall nice quality and I would recommend them.

This. I’ve used both, prefer the boom racing for these reasons.

I have the boom racing gears in two rigs and they fit very well. Quality is good. I would buy them again.

Interlocking spool and ring gear is good, better is one piece so no broken tiny screws. :ror:"thumbsup"
