Re: New SSD Trail King Diamond Offset Front Axle Case What?!?! This is great Katan! You mind sharing who will be getting them first? I will be ordering two as soon as I see whos getting them first, if not all good "thumbsup""thumbsup" Maybe im easily amused but this is without a doubt my favorite product this year especially with the TK (from everyone and ive bought a lot of crap:lmao:). This will make some killer builds even better, dang im stoked.8) Thank you! Quick question, so on the trail king would the upper link pretty much be staight inline with the chassis? or triangulated in just a tad? Just curious as I have a neat little project with my TK but its tight with its rx oil pan ;-) oh man i cant wait |
Re: New SSD Trail King Diamond Offset Front Axle Case Thanks. Amain will have them first. This image should answer your question: http://www.ssd-rc.com/images/trail%20king%2010.jpg |
Re: New SSD Trail King Diamond Offset Front Axle Case Do you have a release date as of yet?? |

Or did you mean Pro44? The Pro44 centre sections are available to buy separately. So you can have a Pro44 version now if you want. I haven't decided if I will release them in Pro44 flavour yet. |
Re: New SSD Trail King Diamond Offset Front Axle Case I think he means center pumpkin so ar44 axle shafts fit. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk |

Re: New SSD Trail King Diamond Offset Front Axle Case Why is this not compatible with SSD's old scale transmission??? |
Re: New SSD Trail King Diamond Offset Front Axle Case Lot of newer rigs put the driveshaft on the other side. So I'm guessing if you tried to flip the axle over maybe the shocks won't mount up correctly. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk |
Re: New SSD Trail King Diamond Offset Front Axle Case I guess I'll be needing these axles sooner or later for a VP chassis kit build. |

That was one of the main changes made in the new Trail King transmission to allow the driveshaft and upper link be next to each other. We will be releasing all the Trail King new parts soon so people can mix and match whatever they want. As all of the Trail King chassis parts are backwards compatible to the SCX10 II chassiss anyway. |
Re: New SSD Trail King Diamond Offset Front Axle Case Just got mine bolted up to my 1.9 wraith. Wasn't sure if it would work but somehow it just tucks in there on compression. I had always been running bumpstops for clearance reasons, so that helped also. Need to shorten my upper link slightly to pull the pinion down. Overall it looks great and honestly I dont mind the Trail King aluminum tubes. The front of the tubes just looks so much nicer without the little recess for the link mount holes. Honestly way more realistic looking. I got a Diamond Pro rear housing kit but will definitely pick up a set of TK metal rear tubes when they come out."thumbsup" https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...999b7e81_z.jpg |
