As far as I know the hot racing shocks are very springy. I’d look at running something like SSD or Incision shocks. They are both pretty good designs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

You don't want bouncy shocks. TRX-4 shocks, as was said above, are great shocks.

| ![]() Start with the stock springs and oil. They come with 30 weight oil from the factory I believe. The TRX-4 is heavier than an SCX10 II so you may find yourself wanting to use softer springs, at least in the front, but try it and see how you like the performance before buying anything else. |

As said,TRX shocks are the way to go.I use the Axial springs on the Traxxas shocks. Try the springs that came with your 10.2 kit. |

Similar to the others. I’m running TRX4 shocks with Axial white springs front and rear. My deadbolt weighs in right at 6lb. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

I like the internal spring Boom Racing shocks. They come with multiple springs and a cool shock tool too!

The Traxxas GTS shocks can be purchased off ebay for around $40 a pair and come in several colors. Also, Traxxas sells springs for these shocks in a range of spring rates so you can taylor them to your build.

I have experience with axial stock/icon, desert lizards, proline 2 stage shocks and GTS and i agree.... GTS are perform great. Ebay the shocks, i ran 1 x TRA8042 springs in front .22 and 1 x TRA8044 rear .39 with the stock shock wt traxxes uses for their gts. I mostly climb. |
