SCX10 maximum spur size

56 teeth/32p is standard spur size on the SCX10.

In my case I'm thinking about changing to an Vanquish Incision Motor Mount w/Gear Guard #VPS02210.
What is the tallest spur possible?
Does the Incision part allow taller spur gears?

Dont know the answer exactly but i can tell you in my search for scx10 OG transmission I found a 60t METAL spur gear ($30?) and a 64t plastic axial (or traxxas cant remember) spur gear. I bought the 64t as it was only $7. Did not want a metal spur gear and cost is insane at 30 bucks.

I went to install the 64t spur gear and it does not fit as it interferes with my MIP driveshaft connection on the transmission outputs. The 64 is too large. I think the 60t would work but again, dont want metal. If you are using another brand driveshaft with smaller diameter end maybe it would fit.

Also, not sure if it the if either would work with the stock or upgraded cover as i removed mine. Not sure why it is even needed esp if you are covering it with a lexan body.
