Stock Honcho/Deadbolt RTR steering vs kit

So I have a raw builders kit and enjoy the higher steering angle over my older 10.1 that I upgraded with CVD's.

I realize that due to the Honcho and Deadbolt RTR's coming out stock with dog bones and plastic linkages they limited the steering angle to prevent chatter at full lock, but how is the angle with dog bones and the new AR44 axle setup compared to the old 10.1 platform with dogbones? Are they the same?

Anyone able to do a comparison with a 10.1, 10.2 RTR and 10.2 kit?

Not sure if this helps but here’s a look at 10.1 vs 10.2 rtr (Deadbolt). Definitely a few degrees less on the 10.1

I was going to measure the angle but don’t feel like taking the wheels off lol. I don’t have a kit so can’t compare 10.2 to 10.2 kit, but at least you can rule out “is 10.1 better than 10.2 rtr”

So .... The 10 1 has about 35* of steering angle compared to 42* or so on my stock Honcho, compared to 45-46* on my RBK...

The improvement is noticeable and worth the upgrade.

same tires on with Kit axles.
