| Do 10.3 body mounts work on a 10.2?
On my 10.2 I am using magnets mounts for the body. However the body has come off several times, and while convenient to put back on, the impacts have bent and tweaked the body posts. I'm assuming the 10.3 mounts are specific for the Jeep bodies, but never know unless I ask. Can the 10.3 mounts be adapted to use on the 10.2? Thanx |

The 10.3 mounts on the body are part of the hard plastic parts - so in order to use a similar system, you would need to fabricate a similar system on the 10.2. Also the 10.3 body is a lot more rigid that the 10.2 (if you're using the standard 10.2 body) Ultimately, actually using the parts from a 10.3 would likely not be viable, but I don't see why you couldn't rig something up that is similar in design. Have you thought about adding more mag mounts? Maybe some at the front/rear and possibly some on the sides lower down? Would also need some fab but would allow you continue using mag mounts. |

Thanx for the input. I will work on a custom setup for my crawler. I was hoping for the easy route. LOL.
