Anyone done this? I took my new build out the other day with stock springs and shocks in the factory locations it says to put them, and it did OK i thought. I came across the blog that mentioned putting the softer springs in front from the rear and moving the stiffer fronts to the rear, and then angling the rear springs leaning toward the front. I did this and took it out a bit ago, but to me, the front maybe seems too soft now? I dunno...I have alittle bit of preload on the adjusters, but now with it like this my tires rub on my fenders very easy in the front now on my pro-line gladiator body. Who else is running like this? |

I’m running that setup on my Deadbolt, it’s definitely super soft up front and rubbing aplenty lol

Both my Honcho and my RBK, are running that way. I like it for climbing performance and the lower cg provided by lower ride height. RBK... F150, Honcho is Honcho, lol ![]() |

I do like it, I’m also now running the 100mm aluminum shocks that came with my 10.3 straight axle kit. Plenty of down travel, but more importantly the soft springs up front compress on steep rocks and climbs instead of unloading and tipping me over backwards
