I have the bumper slid all the way forward, and the top of the bumper is still in the way of the front body mounts. The holes that allow the body clips to pass through the bumper mounting plate is in the wrong spot with it this way (you can see the paint scratched off by the body clip). Before I take a tungsten bit and cut out two big clearance channels in my brand new bumper, has anyone else had similar issues, or have a fix I'm just not seeing? I ripped my body on both sides of the grill while forcing the body posts into the mounts so I could go on a group crawl yesterday. Frustrating. It's an awesome bumper. If it would just mount up easily, I'd be incredibly happy with it. The rock sliders haven't given me any trouble, so at least there's that. Any input welcome. -Dustin |

Welp, I had to clearance the top of the bumper quite a bit. At least it all works now, and it's sucked back nice and tight. Haven't been able to find anything online about a similar problem... I don't know what happened. Still happy with it either way. |

Having to mod aftermarket parts slightly is pretty normal. Trimming it a little won't hurt it in any way. Bumper looks great, wish I could find one! All the UMG bumpers are long gone and my stock one is already taking a beating after 2 runs. :( |
