|  SCX10 Body on VS410 Chassis Kit
My girlfriend has an SCX10.2 with the Proline Ramcharger body. She has spent a lot of time painting the body and adding scale details to make it her own. I want to upgrade her into a Vanquish chassis kit. How well will her body fit the Vanquish chassis with the factory Axial holes? It needs to look acceptable so I think this will be the deciding factor.

If you have a 3D printer and can do some basic CAD you can make adapters to move the body posts to where they need to be. I've done this for a few of my projects. That said I can check the hole spacing later tonight. I do remember the rear body post arent just a straight post they're offset, but in theory you could reuse the old body posts. |

The factory holes on my TRX4 Bronco body line up perfectly with both my 10ii and VS410, so I can't see you having any problems with that. I'm not 100% sure on the rear holes as I cut my bronco into a cab-only, but I'm willing to bet they line up too. |

Thank you for the positive response. I did search a little and most people use a new body when they swap over to the new chassis so I wasn't sure. HumboldtEF If you could remember to measure tonight that would 100% confirm our thoughts. Thank you |

For the VS410 the spacing (left side to right side) for both the front and back is 2 7/8", the spacing for the front to the rear posts is just over 10 5/8" (+ 1/32") and thats factoring in using a straight body post not an offset one. The width matches my SCX10.2 but the length does not... but my setup isnt a stock body and I've moved the rear shock towers. Check yours, my guess is it will match up better than mine. Thank you so much for your time! It fits as you would expect for a direct replacement chassis. Left to right is exact and front to back I measure 1/8" difference but that's variable/minor to what it could have been. Ordering now! Thanks guys. |
