Default Driveshaft angle

Is there a way to have the driveshaft angle not quite so steep? I have run a few crawlers with a steep angle, but I'm working on a build and I'm about to buy some driveshafts but the angle has me worried- nothing radical here just a stock deadboltII frame and servo on the axel. any ideas? Trying to reduce binding as much as possible- Thanks Vic in Utah

You can lower the transmission to the skid. Shave the transmission side down and/or hollow out the mounting area of the skid.

you could angle the pinnions up twards the trans that helps alot
you could lower the trans or skid like sead above
you could use a different frame say a trx4 that has a much lower belly a vanquish frame is vary close to the trx4 belly hight
you could switch to portal axles
you could use shorter shocks or limit droop

good driveshafts should handle the angle

If you wanted to make or order some new links you could make the top links longer. But it will change your steering angle a bit too. I've done it twice and it works like a charm.

If your pinion and trans output are not parallel to another, it will create a lot of vibration/heat on something that goes fast. If you are only going slow, then the pinion angle would help out in the rear. If you can clock the front knuckles, then ....
