What’s the difference between base camp scx10.3 and the Jeep jlu kit. You are talking about transmission only? Or? Thanks for the information.

JLU kit has a big heavy trans with dig and 2-speed, bigger links, fake LS motor cover, inner fenders, and a much more detailed body with interior.

And no electronics, obviously.

If you build the kit box stock it won’t be as capable as the basecamp imo.

The kit could be built into whatever you want though, just depends if you want a project to start with, or an rtr to get you going and upgrade/modify from there

I'd way rather have this than a 10.2 builder's kit. It's 10.2 based... but a lot nicer. It's supposed to come back in stock in the next day or two.

I agree. If you go the kit route, but are aiming towards better performance/comp stuff, the vs410 builders kit would be a great option.
