I sooooo ready to add a new Axial to my collection! I l e my Capra. Hopefully the 3 includes the Capra’s plastic formulation, maybe a narrower Capra style axle, new chassis geometry, and a new transmission design? I guess this will determine what my next build may be? 🤔 |

Portals were kind of predictable after the Capra, but the overall ratio looks better. Likely the overdrive portal gears for the Capra will fit this and any brass bits should suit as well. The scale guys will have fun with the motor. Two speed with DIG is a nice new item to play with. Not overly impressed with the new battery location, shades of TRX-4 only sideways, but at least there is room for small packs on the sides. Aluminum shocks and steel links sound good. A decent upgrade albeit a bit reactive. Wonder if the chassis geometry is improved. ~more facts, logic and personal responsibility would make the world a far better place than all the leftist ideas could dream of. |
