| Re: SCX10-III: Things to know before you build yours (Tips) Only one should fit. The number on the servo is the number of the splines. And the specs of your servo should state the spline count. You're pointing out that the part numbers don't match, correct? The one is missing a 5 I believe it is. |

Just finished putting the chassis together today. Wondering if I missed a step or part. The dig arm is rubbing on this screw head. Works fine, but needs a little clearance. |

| Re: SCX10-III: Things to know before you build yours (Tips) I just looked at mine. It's tight, but they don't touch. Is the screw all of the way down?

I did that with a bearing....luckily it was just one for the front output shaft and I only had to take the rear section of the dig back off.

I just checked, I was able to get about a 1/4 turn out of it, but its tight and the arm still rubs. I'll have to pull the link mount to see if it didn't seat correctly and of course, it's buried now. I'm sure this is still my fault in some way lol

Has anyone else had an issue with clearance between the servo horn and chassis? I'm using a Spektum S6280 servo, and had to file on the chassis, lower edge of shock tower and horn itself a bit to make it move more freely. I don't think it will be an issue now that I filed it down, but may file down the mounting tabs on the chassis brace servo mounts to gain some more clearance.

No the screws were the right length. I removed the link, counter sunk the i/b hole and reinstalled with a new screw. Arm still rubs on the link. I'll probably just add a washer under each center skid trans mount.

Are you sure it is touching? It is close but from the other angle I can see there is about 1mm gap between my screw and my dig linkage.

Mom LOOKS, but it’s actually on the rounded edge of the screw, paper width at best. I hadn’t noticed it as I was installing things, that’s in tonight’s plans to adjust it. Did you fight the part that threads onto the dig shaft, it might be one turn too far in? Hang up and Drive |

New guy here but not new to rc, I finished my 10-3 and love it, great kit, I encountered the minor typo issues and the shock tower alignment issue (which I’m sure they will address) which weren’t big deals. However I do have a question, I have the same constant clicking in the transmission (I believe in the trans) that can be heard in most YouTube videos of the 10-3, but mine does seem less pronounced. My question is has anyone investigated this yet and or found the cause? Thanks in advance !!!

One thing might be just to loosen all the transmission cover screws a bit, since I used a powertool with them (such very long screws omg).

I was also thinking it may be a engagement dog, I’m going back in mine as well but it may be a few days as I’ve got lots of work waiting . I’m glad I’m not the only one that it bothers!!!!
