Looks good, Mike. It was a great build. I'm way behind on my thread.

Everybody is going with the baseball hat. I think I'm going with the cowboy hat.

Well, it's green. It's definitely green. It was a nice job, and it's...green.

I'm just jealous of your outdoor build shots... Definitely ready for some warm sunny weather here in the NE.

Jeep looks great!

Nice build! I like that trailer too. Seeing the packers stuff in the background, the green makes even more sense now.

Trailer got stopped because of this kit....It was supposed to be here 4/21....so plans got a bit wonky, But with the covid stuff, perfect build times!

Goodies a day earlier than expected!!
Gotta love Covid for something! As all stickers are done, time for wheels and tires, 800000 small screws threadlock application. Then some Holmes Horses, the V2 stubby and a BLE

Thanks Brian. As I’m “essential “ I’ve been working all week, not enough play time with this yet. I did make a 3” servo extension, set the bec at 7.4v, reverse motor and set curve in the BLE. Battery strap needs to go on, thinking of shorter esc leads to consolidate wiring.

I locked it in low. Just gave it a quick checkout, still need to adjust dig servo, rebalance one tire. I will concur that a 2700 (stubby) or not is too fast on the 14t pinion. I’ve got a 12 and 9 loose so I will test both. Is a bit noisy inside due to the body acting as an echo chamber.

OK finally a bit of free time, got my dig done and adjusted, can’t wait for day in the rocks for a test, but a bit of my “test tree “ not as noisy as some have mentioned, this sounds like my other Holmes Brushless rigs

Pretty cool! Nice test tree...Alex Haley would approve.

Doesn't sound bad at all, that's encouraging.

I had a chance today go run my lake bank, some stumps and grass. Zero clicking at all, normal brushless noise. This rig did put a smile on my face, quite capable, The only “extra” is OD gears up front, 45wt shock oil out back. What did impress me was the tires, worked in wet loose sandy soil, where my regulars load up.... these cleaned out well.

Are you not running the two speed? My hunch is the noise comes from the dogs for the 2 speed. From the pic above it looks like you’re only running the dig. If this is the case I’ll feel better about the noise.

*edit I see above you said it’s locked in low. Good to know

I don’t use the dig very often and the ratios between low and high gear aren’t that far apart so I may simplify my set up after hearing how much quieter this is.
