| Lets have some fun...what body would you like to see next...READ BEFORE YOU POST READ BEFORE YOU POST. Ok, keep in mind that it doesn't matter how many people want a certain brand or body style, if Axial can't work a licensing deal with a company, it just won't happen. That could be anything from the fees being to high or the company is not offering licensing. Selfishly, this is for me to see what bodies you'd like to see, even though this is a small pool, it would be fun to know what the group likes here. 1. Post a vehicle/body using our current licensing: Jeep, Chevy, Ford and we might have Dodge (we being Horizon Hobby). Then... 2. Post your top 3 most desired bodies. Pics would be cool too of said examples. Again, this is just for fun and in no way means we will make this body or that it was your idea (trust me we have a huge list already and stuff lined up through 2022 LOL) or that this is a list of bodies we will do...it is just for fun. Thanks, Rich Last edited by Rich Trujillo; 04-02-2020 at 02:29 PM. |

Would I be right in thinking that current (1:1) models are more expensive to licence from their respective manufacturers, or do certain manufacturers actually look favourably on an RC version of a current products - in a way to promote the full size examples too? Either way, personally I'd like to see some of the older 1980s & 1990s Japanese SUV 4x4s - eg. the Mitsubishi Shogun/Pajero, the Isuzu Trooper, The Daihatsu Fourtrak/Rocky, and various Nissans etc. and perhaps even the smaller Suzuki offerings too. I know Tamiya offer (or have offered) various Mitsubishi models in the past, and the odd Nissan Truck body too; but I imagine there is a significant nostalgia for those middle ground 4x4s which bridged the gap between the more hardcore Jeep and Land Rovers, and typical Toyota and Chevy/Ford pickup trucks? - and were vehicles a lot of people in this hobby might well have owned themselves back in the day? I appreciate there are an increasing number of 3D printed bodies coming out based on some of those older Japanese 4x4s, but those are a lot of work to prep properly - I'm not a huge fan of Lexan, but appreciate what can be achieved these days, particularly when you start to add a number of injection moulded scale details as the latest SCX10-iii Jeep has. So in no particular order: 1. Daihatsu Rocky (SWB or LWB) 2. Isuzu Trooper 3. Toyota 80 series Land Cruiser. I'd also love to see the current (or at least 2010-on) Toyota Tacoma and 4Runner available too, but I imagine the licencing from Toyota is prohibitively expensive there? Looking forward to seeing what's coming next! |

I'd like to see a mid 70's F-Series Standard Cab, Long Bed and a mid 90's F-Series Crew Cab, Long Bed. But, with a "crawler" in mind, an early 70's Bronco. |

1. Since I'm a Ford guy, I would like to see a body of the new Bronco when it comes out for sure. Wouldn't mind seeing the Ranger (So many prerunner or overland build possibilities). I also love Bronco IIs (Currently building/restoring one) Not mine but desired end result. 2. I wouldn't mind seeing the current gen of 4Runner or Tacoma. I think Broncos, Scouts, and FJs have all be done many times. Also wouldn't mind seeing you guys work with Off Road Evolution/Evo MFG for Jeep Parts Last edited by FordSpeed; 04-02-2020 at 12:58 PM. |

1) Ford Raptor (I know HH is already licenced to do Respite bodies, as they're already available on Losi vehicles...no photo, everyone knows what the Raptor looks like) 2) 1964 Toyota Stout (I know Toyota isn't on the 'licenced' list, but thought I'd toss this one in, as no RC manufacturer (as far as I know) had produced it) 3) Jeep J-10, J-20, J-2000, J-3000, or J-4000, or Comanche Pickup (again, I'm not a Jeep fan, but, at least these are cute different from all the CJ-based designs)J-4000Comanche ~ More peace, love, laughter & kindness would make the world a MUCH better place |

First two would sell like a Jeep I’d guess. For the hauler, really any hauler that isn’t $1600 would do. |

| Re: Lets have some fun...what body would you like to see next...READ BEFORE YOU POST Scale that down to 313mm wheelbase, and you have tires that are barely over 3". The 2020s are a bit better, but most GM trucks 90s through 2010s, don't fit big tires very well, so I have a hard time seeing them as RCs with a 313mm wheelbase and 4.75" tires, unless the body sits entirely on top of the tires, like a mega / mud / monster truck. Proline did a 2500HD cab that came out sorta-ok-ish though not nearly as scale accurate as the JL body, so maybe it's possible to get bigger wheel wells without distorting the vehicle too much, but I have a hard time seeing it on many 90+ GM trucks.
