| Is anybody making a better panhard bar?
I went for a run this morning and snapped the panhard rod right where the threads begin. I know that there isn't much room in there for a larger rod, but does anyone know of anything better being sold out there? I haven't found anything and am not really excited by putting another weak stock part back in.

The mount is fine. It's the actual bar that broke.

No. I actually replaced it with a stock part last night.

I would love to know if anyone has found a solution to this. Besides going to the local hobby store and convincing the guys working there to let me rummage through all there Traxis trx links, and servo rods, (which I did, and still couldn’t find one that worked). I’m not sure what to do.

Can you post a pic of where it's breaking - is it that the threads are breaking off the rod? I wonder if you could just make a rod out of something just a little softer that would be less brittle if that's the case - perhaps some aluminum rod? There shouldn't be much pressure on the panhard bar, it's more for keeping things in line. Maybe something else is out of whack and causing excess force on the rod end? |

I think i might have found the perfect combo of rod ends and bent link. The rod ends are the offset ones that came with the truck with a slight shave to them. The link is the drag link that came with the club5 high clearance set. I also spaced the servo up 1mm. The servo horn is unknown its just one i had. Its very very tight but i still get full articulation on both sides, full compression and full steering Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
