I'm getting ready to mount the motor to the transmission assembly and I'm a little uneasy with how far out on the shaft the pinion gear has to be to fully engage the spur gear. Does this look right? |

Just get the two gears as centered the best you can. If you're worried about it, I am running brushless, mamaba monster X, and a Holmes Hobbies Puller Pro 4500kv and that is exactly what I did. Center gears, lock it down with loctite and call it a day. Sent from my moto z4 using Tapatalk |

So long as the motor is tight to the motor mount, and the pinion is centered to the spur, you should be good. The reason the shaft is that long is to meet up with spurs on some rigs. Run It like you stole it. lol |
