| Upgraded Shocks
I noticed my suspension on the III is not as good as I would like it to be. I just happened to see that the oil has leaked out of a couple as well. I'd like to upgrade with a good set of shocks but don't know which ones are the better quality. Can anyone suggest from experience which are the good shocks and even which are the crap ones to stay away from? I think we all could benefit from this advise along the way. Thanks in advance for your input. |

Yes I’ll agree the shocks are junk. I just bought the Gladiator on Tuesday. They already are leaking and too much torque twist. Yesteryear I took apart the rear shocks. Greased all the o rings with green slime. Changed the rear oil to 50 weight. It took care of the rear torque twist. Slowed the leaks for now. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

I’ve been meaning to ask this question too but for a 10.2. Even the rc4wd king shock clones have reviews about leaks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I have had good luck with Element shocks, as well as Proline big bores. Neither have leaked for me. Stay away from Incision/Vanquish shocks....those leak horribly. |

The TRX4 shocks are pretty good and as already mentioned the Pro-Line shocks are an excellent option to.

I went out with my SCX yesterday and hit the trail park for the first time. Besides burning out my stock crap motor, I talked to a couple of guys who recommended Desert Lizard Shocks. I ordered them and will keep you posted. Sent from my SM-N975U using Tapatalk |
