Default 10.3 portals on 10.2 housing?

Sorry if this seems like a dumb question. This is the first time I'm really "building" anything. I've got a 10.3 kit and am going to use the axles and links on a 10.2 umg/unimog. I have a boom racing metal housing laying around and was wondering if the portals and internals from the kit will fit?

I have never done it personally, but I think they would work? I don’t really see why they wouldn’t. Hopefully someone with more knowledge or even someone who has done it knows for sure.

Na it won’t work, the “C-hub” to mount the portal assembly is vastly different. I’ve got both, 10.3 and 10.2 with aluminum 3 piece axles. I’ll take some pics when I get home. Companies make portals you can adapt on to 10.2 axles though

The c-hub is built into the housing on the 10.3

Thanks for the picks. I figured there was something I was overlooking. No big loss, I'll just assemble the 10.3 axles as is. I can always use the spare housing on something else.

Thanks!
