Default Axial SCX10iii Honeywagon Work in progress...

This is my SCX 10 three that I finally started upgrading it is a really capable rig mine does not have any of the clicking the people talk about I felt there was a little something and I change the pinion gear to an 11 to harden steel Robinson racing no issues with anything I’m working on getting this rig even more capable got some gearhead wheels on it got the
Holmes hobby 540 Tourquemaster Pro and the Holmes hobbies BR XL ESC
And. Fly sky GT5 radio
Reefs Raw 500 servo and TRX4 shocks with brass cups no leakage...
next axles, suspension and more more more...... never ends does it. Buzzzzzzzzzz....

Hey man they are made by Club 5 RC got them on Ebay they are solid and since im not going to be using the clips on the bottom of the body they keep the body super stiff!!!!

im going to put a post on this build today hopefully starting next week to overhaul this beast!!!!!! BUZZZZZZ.........

here are the parts I have collected in the last 3 months I have a couple more on the way but here is the majority of the parts im adding to this BIG BEE..... BUZZZ.......

Parts list:

Hot Racing( Brass steering Knuckles and Caps Drivelines Front and Rear Shock Tower braces)

Fast Eddies SCX10iii (Bearing Kit)

Samix (Titanium High Clearance Links)

TGH (Portal Axle Gear Set OVERDRIVE & STANDARD)

KNK SCX10 iii (Stainless screw kit and chassis and driveline stainless kit)

GPM (Aluminum Battery mounts and Front Body mounts)

RC4WD (Rock Crawler shocks 90mm)

Treal (Front and Rear Aluminum F9 axles/ Shock Body Mounts/ Skid Plate/ Micro servo aluminum horns & overdrive gear)

KYX (Aluminum Front Bumper mount/ Front and Rear Body braces/ Side Step Running Boards/ Hard Steel Front & Rear Axle CVD Straight Drive Shaft Dogbone/
Hardened Steel Transmission Gear Set Gearbox/ Aluminum Servo Mount Bracket/

That’s a lot of parts man!

Everytime I see your Hawaii plates, I get jealous lmao.

How are the Hyraxes? I’m torn between the flat irons, hyraxes and BFG Krawlers. I’m leaning BFGs because I really like that scale looking tread pattern.

Well you can not go wrong on the Hyraxes I use them and Proline Swampers and Pit bull rock beast and I just ordered some trencher crawlers for my comp build they all work good on different terrains I have found my Swampers I have on my honey crawler handle most conditions we'll!!! BUZZZZZZ.....

Those gears seem like they'd eliminate a lot of the slop that's in the factory gears..... be interesting to get some input for them

Me too just changing the pinion gear to a high quality 11 tooth made any noise go but I know the trans needs help so I will let you know asap ill bee posting the build photos and videos and reviews so stay in the Hive..... BUZZZZZZ........ OM......

OK so I posted yesterday the gears and I received them today and took the Tarns apart to see what else I need to buy so I one ahead an got myself a steel spur from KYX and some new slipper pads the stock ones there are pretty toast!!!! so until I get those in the mail and 2 other parts im not gong to start this beast but im sure in a week or two ill get going and start posting!!! BUZZZZZZ........

SO finally I started getting back to rebuilding and fully Modding my SCX10 iii....

I have all the parts and the wheels are finally turning on this build ....

In this post Im showing the rebuilt Trans/ Side Panels and rails Mounted

Treal Axles
Treal and Hot racing Brass
TGH Portal gears
Treal Micro Servo Saver
Mounted on The NWSD ST-1 Scale Table...
KYX Driveshafts
Scalerfab Side Rails
GPM Aluminum Battery mounts
KYX Trans Gears Set
KYX Spur gear
Hot Racing pinion gear
