Default Hobbywing QuicRun Fusion FOC?

I've seen a few different videos on YouTube on the Hobbywing QuicRun Fusion FOC, and it seems like a pretty decent setup, and I like the all in one design. Just wondering if anyone has put one in a 10 III, or has used one in another rig?

Well I ordered the 1800kv version since it was on sale for Black Friday. Here's hoping it's as good as people are making it out to be.

I'm using the HW Fusion 1800kv in my 10.2 and love the way it performs. And it's damn quiet! I think you'll be pleased.

I’ve just tried to install this in my 10.3. It won’t work without modifying the cross brace / steering servo mount. It’s not much that needs to be trimmed, but trimming is necessary.

I got one on the way to try.

Paid $115 for a 1800kv version on Black Friday which was finally low enough to convince me to give it a shot. I sincerely doubt it will replace the Mamba X/Puller Pro combo in my SCX10III so it will likely go in my Element.

Thanks for the heads up. I don't mind having to do a bit of trimming if needed

I too picked one of the 1800kv's up on Black Friday. Should be here today!

My plan is to put this in my GCM J2 Skeleton build. Since space is tight in the J2, this should free up the space needed for an ESC. I just hope the motor isn't too long to fit in their. I guess I'll find out soon!
