Can I upgrade/replace the motor and steering servo while keeping the Spektrum Firma 40a receiver/esc? What are good budget options? Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk |

Yes you can personally I'd recommend a Holmes Hobbies 550 torquemaster sport or a crawlmaster sport you just have to watch minimum turn rating with that esc. Reef 444 servo is pretty good too. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk |

Servo upgrade will most likely need an external bec and a Rx bypass Hang up and Drive |

True as well unless you run a 6v servo. Savox also has some decent servos as well. I definitely agree on external bec though. There is I think a castle plug and play one that has built in bypass or it may have been a heyok one Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk |
