Aftermarket Steering Servo mount?

Is there an aftermarket steering servo mount for the SCX10iii ?

I googled around and nothing jumped out at me.

Reason I ask is that Im replacing the stock steering servo with a HH SHV500LP and it doesnt QUITE fit. I have to do some trimming.

While contemplating that, I was noticing the servo mount/ crossbace seems kind of,,,,,,,,Flimsy? Especially the part towards the rear servo mounts.

I was thinking that would be a good part to replace with aluminum.

I recommend getting one of the aluminum front bumper mounts that has the servo bracket on it, and mounting the servo out front. Helps the weight bias, eliminates panhard clearance issues, and there's much more room to run whatever servo horn you want. Also, cheap. Amazon has got them for like 11 bucks.. Or, brass for a few bucks more.

Nice... Thank You!

One of the reasons for going with Axial for my first Crawler.
I figured that there would be a Fix/Upgrade/Mod for any problem I came across.

Do you want it on axle? Or the stock location?
