This was just posted in the Official WCC thread, but I wanted to make sure everyone saw it and understands. UPDATE: This should hopefully be the last update for WCC. I would like to cover just a few topics before this great event. 7 to be exact. 1. The novice class still has 25 available spots. Lets get those spots filled up. Bring a friend! 2. We will no longer be running tech with sign ups on friday. CKRC will have a tech station there to check your rig. Each course judge now has a CKRC tech station. If your rig is OUT of spec when its your turn to run, you will receive a 50 maximum point penalty and the judge will move on to the next competitor. NO EXCEPTIONS. Make sure your rig is set up properly to the 2009’ USRCCA rules before each course. 3. Running order will be designated at sign ups. If you would like to run with a friend, please make sure you sign up at the same time. 2-8 friends can run together, as long as they sign in together and there are enough spots for each course. First come first serve. Running order: Four courses, 25 drivers per course will start. Each driver starts at the predetermined course and then can move on to any other course they choose only after running there designated one first. 4. There is a new 2009 Novice rules in effect. Please be familiar with it. 2.4.4- (6/11/09)- Electronics restriction: All novice competitors are now limited to running 2 channels. 3-11 channel radios are allowed, but are limited to the following devices being plugged in. Channel 1 is considered steering and channel 2 is considered electronic speed control. BEC devices will also be allowed upon inspection and approval from the Head marshal. BEC's must be in the designated BAT port on the receiver. (example A) If you own a losi crawler with dig installed. Only the steering servo, speed control, and BEC are permitted to be plugged into their appropriate port. Meaning no power can be supplied through any other channel than 1 or 2 or Bat. No power to the dig servo. (Example B) If you own a berg with one speed control, Only the steering servo, speed control, and BEC are permitted to be plugged into their appropriate port. Meaning no power can be supplied through any other channel than 1 or 2 or Bat. No power to a dig system. (Example C) If you own a berg with 2 speed controls, Only the steering servo, ONE speed control, and BEC are permitted to be plugged into their appropriate port. Meaning no power can be supplied through any other channel than 1 or 2 or Bat. The second speed control must be plugged into a Y harness with the primary speed control for power. Tech inspection for novice class is now done before you run each course. If a novice driver is caught using dig during a event. That driver will receive a 50 for each coarse of the day. 5. The BPRCA believes in fair competition where cheating is never a factor. For those of you who have attended a bprca event, you can attest to this statement. With that said, Judges also make mistakes. Because of this the BPRCA requires all drivers to initial the judges score card after each course. If you do not think the score is right dont sign it until you and the judge have agreed. If you sign, thats it, thats your score, 6. Late sign ups needs to be purchased by wednesday morning. Late sign ups are a $20.00 fee and will closing saturday morning at 8:00 am sharp. YOU MUST HAVE A LATE REGISTRATION TICKET TO SIGN IN SATURDAY. 7. Please note, that we will be leaving for the event wednesday morning and will not be in contact via the Internet until monday night. If you have a question or a problem arises, please direct the questions to the CKRC staff at 1-775-378-5503 Thanks again guys, see you all in a week!

how are you going to be teching the rigs? Are you just setting them down on a flat table and making sure the tires are strait and mesuring from center stub to center stub? I went to a event one time where they pushed down on my rig after setting it on the table and then tech it. Made my rig to long. I hope this is not hoe you will be teching. How exactly are you teching the rigs?

You are correct. You place your rig on the tech sled, the judge looks at it, then you set your rig at the start gate and DO WORK!!!! It's quick, easy, and painless; providing your not LONG.

Hey Parker, Are those sleds going to be at the check in table? I'd like to check my rig Friday to be sure that it hasn't grown since the last comp I went to. Also, to make sure my tape measure = your tape measure.

Hopefully the precidence of allowing that type of rig at recent Major events (08 Nationals, 09 Mid-West Indoor Challenge, 09 Motorama, and 09 East Coast Championships) will continue at this event.

as long as it fits to the rules. we believe there are a lot of loop holes in the rules for these, but we also dont feel it is a advantage to run them. the rules state 3" at the chassis. not bumpers, lexan flaps, or shocks. thats all we are concerned about.
