But the rest of the drivetrain and truck are pre-production stock. We are doing all our testing using brushless motors to ensure that they can handle the power.

My truck is running the new Castle SCT system with the 4 pole motor on 3S and we have also run the Novak Goat 3S system.
So were any of the videos of the wraith running all stockequipment? I would be pissed If i waTched yalls wraiths ripping on 3s and got mine and it was a turd with the stock gear.....

There have only been two small clips of the orange and green Wraiths (our testers). One clip in the RC Car Action video, the other in one of the FOFF videos near the end.

The main Wraith video is shot with completely stock equipment.

keep checking back in here and might have missed the answer....for you guys testing this thing with a brushless setup, how does it crawl? not just bash over the rocks but actually ccrrraaawwwwlllll them lol. i'm wanting to snag one of these when it comes out but trying to decide if i want to leave it brushed or make the leap to brushless on it.

A sensorless brushless motor is not going to crawl well. If you want to crawl then stick with brushed unless you want to try a sensored brushless system. Sensored will be better but still not as good as brushed for crawling.

I was kinda curious to see how well of a match the SCT system would be to these, I figured it would be pretty ideal. How is it so far, what kind of gearing, heat, etc?

So what setup will you be running on your Wraith?

I have two on order, one will be brushless. Probably something in the 3000's for kv. The other will be brushed, probably a Holmes 16 turn 5 slot motor on 3s with a MMP.

Not sure if its been meantioned, but the c-hubs and the knuckles are the same as the ones from the XR10 so there should be plenty of options right out of the box. I'm thinking Vanquish with knuckle weights.

Just make sure you use a wheel with close offsets to stock, otherwise you will be creating tire scrub when turning, slow speed driving this isn't that big of a deal (other than more force on the servo) but the high speed driving will be affected.

Im looking at the specs and im not seeing the wheel offset, I got wheel base at 13.5, width at 11.6, ect... Am I missing something?

EDIT I was reading that its the same to the xr10?
