RCCA has an article about it. It looks very easy to change the diffs from locked to open and back, you don't have to rip the entire axle apart.

Sweet, invisible diffs. That's really stepping the technology up a few notches.

they are also about an inch wider than the old axles. i wish they would come out with that design at the stock width.

Some other differences not mentioned here:
C's and knuckles - these are off the XR10 and are pretty strong and durable, pus they allow more adjustment to caster angle, also the optional Universal axles will be similar to the XR10.. again strong and durable, plus lots of steering angle when using these option parts

zero ackerman - with locked diffs and the steering link in front this helps the steering

angled kingpin design, this helps reduce scrub radius when turning which is a lot easier and better on a servo, as well as aids in high speed steering. When you have lots of scrub the truck will want to dive forward and flip when turning under speed.

suspension geometry - these are set up for 4 link vs. the old 3 link, also the lower link mounts can be flipped to adjust the position of the lower links and shocks

All the above items make them really good for use on any custom build rig, especially if you are looking for a wider stance and want to maintain better steering and handling.

At 243 mm hex to hex, they are about 30mm wider than WK axles when I measured the WK's under my Willys, a bit too wide for my tastes but I'll be one of the first to attempt to modify the width of these axles to use under the Willys.
