Well I'm home and about to start working on this rig. I am going to try a new method of removing the glued on tires, baking them in the ove.  We'll see how it goes...

So to attach the driveshafts I used the pins that are used in Traxxas Maxx or HPI Savage driveshafts. I love that Axial has decided to go to this style output   Here you can also see how the engagement is on the MIP's. There is a good 3/4" of engagement.  |

I also installed the new VP knuckles. They bolt right up using the stock knuckle arms and the stock tie-rod. New knuckle arms will be on their way soon though  |

2 tires successfully dismounted!
EASY! Please be careful! I had some water in my tires and the steam that was coming out could have been pretty dangerous. |
