| Ok now I got ya. I hate having one off axle shafts normally. They are a vulnerable part, especially with 4mm shafts. I think you could make the XR work for you.

| There is no benefit at all. The only thing is that you typically see a centered pumpkin on the rear axle of most rigs with the exception of rear engine cars. So it's only for scale reasons.

| Re: Harley's Wraith Thanks Mini Haha, we talked today. I am going to have them send me two raw housings for the back. So they won't have any coating or the beadblasted finish. After I am done with the modifications I will send the housing back and have them blasted and anodized. Hopefully that really blends the modifications into the axle. |

I went ahead and ordered 4 new 4s Lipos for the Wraith. I wanted to get them here before the chassis gets underway so that I can make sure we make spot for it have it that allows for easy changing. I have been using Hobbypartz lately for batteries, the Gen Ace stuff has just flat out worked great for me. I picked up a couple of the regular series stuff and a couple of the ECO series which is only 20c. With 4s I am sure it will still have more then enough punch. Just need to get the new arm from Holmes on the way. GENS ECO 2200mAh 14.8V 20C |

heyy harley, what batteries were you running in the stock wraith chassis. you've inspired me into buying one for my self, and as i am buying pretty much everything on the net, i want to buy as much stuff as possible at once to save on shipping. i was thinking of putting the battery under the hood, for crawling purposes, and i need to know the dimentions of the space in the hood that would allow for a battery to fit. |

hi harley, because of this thread, i order a wraith kit. i hope you can help me with my questions. i wanted this to be fast but don't want to brake the stock parts. 1. for sensored brushless setup, im choosing between 13.5t and 17.5t, i like the way your 13.5t power but it damages a lot of parts, is there a big difference between 13.5t and 17.5t in terms of speed? hows the 17.5t compare to stock 20t motor in terms of speed? 2. are you familiar with hobby wing xerun sensored brushless? is it good? 3. should i change the stock gearing if ill run 13.5t or 17.5t? 4. why cant i find vanquish products on ebay? where can we buy it online using paypal? 5. you have mention in your earlier post how to beef up the drive shafts using two female shafts in the output and super glue it on the male, do you have picture or illustration for this? 6. i have a futaba BLS 351 and 352 servo, are these enough power for the wraith? which one is best suited for the wraith? should there be a need of external BEC? 7. what cms kit that has greater performance than the stock axle mounted servo? thank you so much harley! |

| Re: Harley's Wraith I suggest a 3s battery and 3000mah or above. It just depends on what you can fit.
