Nice job on the lights, too bad you couldnt have had the EXO sooner to build this cage around the plastic version to keep weight down. |

Looks good Harley. We sized the rear lights on the EXO to be the same as the larger oval light buckets on the part tree AX80045. If you cut your hole correctly they should sandwich the metal and hold in place just right!

| Thanks Matt, that was my hopes (cutting the hole correctly anyway ). I'm going to use the stock controller and just change out a couple LED's. I just need to get more buckets and lens still. I have the two from the Wraith RTR and might see if I can steal two more from a friend.

This is similar to how I want the rear of the Wraith to come out. I want to do a rear mounted radiator like this as well. Also the clear lens with the colored LED is the plan. |

Thanks guys. I finished welding up the rear light bar tonight. The GF and I went out to the casino earlier tonight, won some decent cash at the BJ table! Yay! More parts!

Not sure how many of you follow the full size world builds closely but this is the new Poison Spyder KOH car. It's another car I'd love to build someday. However that's not why I posted the pic. I'm looking at finalizing my lighting wants. So I have been talking with Erik from MadDog RC. I just ordered his 5" light bar for the windshield area. I will likely make a rack to hold/protect it even though it is a robust design. I'm also talking with him about doing a 1" Amber front mount light bar. More on that when the time comes. While in the ordering mood I picked a couple odds and ends. First was a new interior kit from Axial. Mine has been hacked on over the time I've owned the truck. Then I figured I might as well get new servo horns that match. I always use Robitronics but I'm guessing these Axial pieces are about the same. So I grabbed 2. |

Love this build! Could you post up some pics of the light output and how you mount the light bar if you get time? Coming from someone with Rigid Industries lights on his 1:1 truck, lol. |

| When I get them I definitely will. I've seen them before and they are definitely the Ridid equivalent in the 1:10 world!

Alright! Busy night in the shop but not a ton of progress really. Spent a good amount of time cleaning up my mess. First off I filed and then mounted the rear lights for mock up. I'm happy with how that project ended! Next up we worked on the rear axle. I had Fat Jesus bring over his benchtop lathe so we could make a couple simple fixes that I messed up in my measurements. I just hadn't had time to make it back over to the machine shop So after we made those mods I started on the rear truss. I have decided on running a 3 link for sure. So that means I will have to make a panhard mount for the rear on the chassis side. Lots of trimming to go of course, this is just where I sit at this point tonight. |
