Plasti dip if it is done right isn't very thick, if you do it when the dip is fresh, and its good and warm, it will end up being very thin, and the stuff is tough as nails. I have most all my lipos dipped, some servos too and it works well. Servos will need additional sealing around the output shaft like an o-ring or grease applied regularly. You can also fill the internals with dielectric grease. Plasti Dip is also available in a spray can, I plan to try that out on my current waterproof project.

Plastic-Dip makes the back of the "Deans" on batterries look cool to!
