No it's not completely the RX case is but not the ESC is all the videos you've watch I'm sure everyone has done more work to seal them off completely.

I've used liquid electrical tape, works wonders plus IMO it's easier to use and seal up with out making things bulky like the plastidip

| Nope, I didn't do a thing out of the box. Completely submerged right out of the box for 20 plus minutes and ran great. I fried the motor but it was likely from 3s and dirty water.

Electric motors will run in water but it doesn't mean they are all waterproof. Something sealed and rated as Waterproof is what you will want if you plan do do a lot of water wheeling, especially if you want to hit mud and dirty water. Many brushless. Motors are sealed and would work well, but there are choices that are rated as waterproof. Plasti dip if it is done right isn't very thick, if you do it when the dip is fresh, and its good and warm, it will end up being very thin, and the stuff is tough as nails. I have most all my lipos dipped, some servos too and it works well. Servos will need additional sealing around the output shaft like an o-ring or grease applied regularly. You can also fill the internals with dielectric grease. Plasti Dip is also available in a spray can, I plan to try that out on my current waterproof project. |

really ppl do u even read these threads and posts!!??? harley has said several times in numerous threads and posts he ran it stock! nothing was plasti-dip'd! the main reason the 20t motor fried was 3s! which is more than the motor can handle! Now with that being said harley never said it was water-proof nor water resistant, but that he had good luck in wet conditions and submerging his...Now dont go buying one get it wet fry it and say well harley did it and his is fine.... com'n ppl.. use ur noodle...he was testing his rig to its max limits and them some tryin to find weak points of this new slick rig so that he can give a good complete review and not bull shit anyone
