| Dorkstar + Bulu Wraith in the Mountains
Video to come thanks to Bulu Productions! My Wraith runs a 2200 3s Lipo under the hood, and the RX box in the rear battery tray. I ran it briefly on 4s too, and it worked...for a while...smoke... ;) A few pics: Thanks for looking! |

| It's super easy. Pull the RX box off, and you'll see that there is plenty of room for your 2200 right there. Use one of the velcro straps from the rear battery tray to secure it. No problems! I then used the other velcro strap to hold the RX box in the rear. I had to use 1 6" servo extensions and 1 12" servo extension, as well as lengthen the front LED wires, to reach the RX box. I'll take some pics later. |

| Ryan made magic smoke come out of the ESC and the motor wasn't happy either.... 4s is a bit much for stock gear, but it was perfect for power dept though. Mine survived fine all day with 3s.

| Turns out it was just the motor that quit- it couldnt handle 5 packs of 3s abuse and then 4s! The ESC still works great!

Awesome Video when you say you broke a steering knuckle, was it the original plastic one, I assume? Is your ESC water proofed, or still stock (original location)? Last edited by prusik333; 06-15-2011 at 10:29 AM. |

| Hmmmm.. I agree with the thought of the lights, but those are not my favorite... luckily I already thought about this... options coming soon! In the interim, I would suggest looking into what Brandon did on this build... More info on it here: http://axialracing.com/wordpress/201...-unimog-build/ Might not be as inexpensive, but will fit a little wider across the roof line and flows a little better with the look of the rig. |
