| Wraith Trans. v/s Ax10 Trans.
Ok guys not sure this is the right place for this question. If it's not please move it. What is it that gives the Wraith the wheel speed v/s a AX10? My understanding (which is likely wrong) is that the axles are VERY similar to an AX10 and can use the same gears. If that's true the Trans would have to have a different Ratio correct? Again if that is correct does anyone know if I could put Wraith gears in my Ax10 Trans? Thanks. I'm sure you can all see were i'm trying to go. KOH style racing is Super full but my AX10 needs more speed. |

It's all in the motor. This truck uses a 20 turn motor vs a typically 35 turn or higher motor in an AX10.

All the gears are the exact same, both axle and transmission other than the spur and pinion. The Wraith uses an 80/20 spur and pinion vs the 87/14 stock AX10/SCX10 setup.
